Recently, the 2019 progress exchange meeting of national key R & D plan "research and demonstration project of key technologies for harmless and efficient utilization of Typical Hazardous Wastes in aluminum industry" undertaken by Weiqiao Aluminum Power Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing.

The meeting was presided over by Professor Han Yuexin of Northeast University, the general director of the research group, and relevant reports were made by the research units. On behalf of the company, the project leader of Weiqiao Aluminum Power Co., Ltd. reported and summarized the phased results of the national scientific research projects undertaken by the company. He hoped that the project teams could fully communicate and cooperate with each other, successfully achieve the annual objectives and assessment indicators, and complete the project plan. The research of the project will play a better role in promoting the reuse of aluminum ash, waste cathode and red mud from the aluminum industry and our company's solid waste, and lay a solid foundation for the sound development of environmental protection and health of the aluminum industry.

The "research and demonstration project of key technologies for harmless and efficient utilization of Typical Hazardous Wastes in aluminum industry" consists of 6 projects with a implementation period of 4 years. Our company is responsible for the R & D plan of 3 research projects, including the integration of continuous ultra-high temperature harmless high-value utilization technology of carbon solid wastes in aluminum electrolytic cell, the demonstration of high-value functional materials prepared by aluminum ash hydrolysis acidolysis coupling control, and the high iron red mud suspension Float magnetization roasting - Key Technology of high efficiency separation.
